We are here to help the Los Angeles Community !

We're coming up with 2 ways to help those in Los Angeles as we fight these fires.  You can Donate Equipment or Donate Money to help.

Angelenos will need help for months with both health and home.  We are vested in being a resource whether that means helping with the major items like lodging, food, clothing; or working on the things that give athletes a release like sports equipment, leagues and more.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of January.  Please consider donating, every bit helps!

1. Donating Equipment

We're running a community wide event on Monday 1/20 from 630 to 830pm at St. Francis HS.  This is open to all laxers in the area, a time for players to come out, play some games have some fun.  For anyone that would like to drop equipment please do!  For anyone that needs equipment, this is for you!

With Lacrosse season entering full swing we want to get players that lost everything into good gear quickly so that they can return to normalcy and enter the season's they have been preparing for and looking forward to. We are looking for gently used equipment and here is what that means by item:

All items:

- Less than 6 years old (except lacrosse shafts)

Helmets:

- Still has inside padding

- Scrapes and scuffs OK

- Chinstraps still attached

- Buckles/snaps can be missing

- Less than 6 years old

Elbow, Shoulder Pads and Gloves:

- Please not rips

- Slight fraying is OK if it does not affect the fit of the pad

Please note, we love the idea of buying and sending us pads, but money is better spent on individual needs than spending it on equipment.  Please, if you'd like to donate but don't have equipment, use option 2 so we can get more good out of your generosity.

2. Donating Money

These fires are going to be affecting LA residents for weeks, months and years after January is over.  We want to be a resource for families for as long as possible.  What that means to us is supporting them in their housing needs, food needs and their extracurricular needs.

Our scheduled use of funds goes as follows:

January - Food and Clothing Support.

Fund distributions during this time is all about making sure families have food and water and clothing lost in the fires.

February - Housing Support

In February we want to help any families still displaced by the fires, likely having issues with insurance.

March and onward - Extracurricular Support

We've already made agreements with area programs to allow players entrance at a discounted rate.  Our goal in March is to start fulfilling and creating new agreements to support young athletes through the Summer.
